"Elizabeth’s experience as a teacher, massage therapist and constant student of yoga make her a fountain of knowledge she is eager to share!"
-Sara V. RYT 200
This course was born from my own personal experience as a yogi, a yoga teacher, massage therapist, caregiver, and overall human being. It takes books and resources that have helped me on my path of being a yogi, of coping with the illness and death of my husband to cancer, and of finding myself in the four years since his death. This course is meant for anyone who wishes to ask questions of themselves and listen to their inner spirit, with the wisdom available to us from great authors, spiritual traditions, one another, and – most importantly – our own experience.
Elizabeth Sanders, E-RYT 500, has been practicing yoga for nearly two decades. She has been teaching yoga for more than 12 years, and has spent time mentoring and partnering with many new and up-and-coming yoga teachers.
She is passionate about yoga and yoga helping people to live their best life. Whether it be physical asana helping to keep your body healthy, or the philosophy of yoga helping to find peace and balance in a hectic world, Elizabeth has found yoga to be an essential part of her life and she loves sharing it with others. She is especially drawn to helping others find their passion in yoga – from teaching in studios to volunteering in the community, Elizabeth loves helping people find their path in yoga.
When she is not practicing or working as a massage therapist, you can find her reading and writing, running long distances, hiking and backpacking, eating all the chips and green salsa, walking her red lab, going to concerts with her boyfriend, or spending time with her many nieces (oh, and her sisters too!).
Led by Elizabeth Sanders
Beyond Asana: A Year of Yoga to Ground, Heal, and Grow will start in January, with an informational session in December to finalize dates and formats. Due to the small nature of the group, we will be finalizing meeting dates together to best meet the needs of the whole.
Price of the course is $1,200, with early bird pricing of $1,000 by October 31. There will also be optional additions such as massage, Reiki, and private yoga sessions.
This offering is meant for anyone interested in deepening their yoga experience, but can also be used for 20 in-person continuing education hours for yoga teachers. If you have questions about whether this experience is right for you, please message or email me at .
